Johnny is a May 2019 graduate from the University of Notre Dame. He holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science. Johnny has worked as a public address announcer, play-by-play broadcaster, and studio host since high school. At Notre Dame, he has been fortunate to call volleyball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, basketball, and softball on the ACC Network Extra, WVFI (Notre Dame student radio), and host studio shows on Notre Dame student television.

In October 2018, Johnny had the privilege of interviewing the President of the University of Notre Dame, Fr. John Jenkins, C.S.C. In their half-hour discussion, they talked about issues at the University and beyond.
Ad lib Reporting
In April 2019, Johnny was the reporter for a cooking competition at Notre Dame Day.
Johnny guided the audience through the competition, which lasted 20 minutes, and interviewed the chefs and students involved in the competition with no script. Below is a 9 minute segment of the competition.
